We are aware of the latest CDC guidelines, but at this time, the race venue has not changed their guidelines. Limited t-shirts will be available for those who register within 12 days of the race. We encourage participants to bring their own water. "Masks are also required on NPS-managed lands when physical distancing cannot be maintained, including narrow or busy trails, overlooks and historic homes." While not all of our events are on NPS property, we do want to keep our guidelines the same. There are a few sections of the trail in the race that could be fairly busy and very difficult to stay 6+ feet away from others. We understand no one wants to wear a mask when running, but please abide by this new ruling when you near other runners, bicyclists, and other members of the public.
Points count towards our Year-Long 5k, Endurance, & Back of the Pack Series. Points will also count towards our Spring Series. Find more info about the series here.

In partnership with EOD Warrior Foundation. The EOD Warrior Foundation serves the EOD community by providing financial assitance and support to active-duty and veteran wounded, injured, or ill EOD warriors, families of our wounded and fallen EOD warriors and by maintaining the EOD Memorial.
Come out and enjoy this scenic, flat half-marathon and 5k in the heart of Georgetown near the Nation's Capital. Both events run on the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal path.
Walkers and strollers are welcome to attend this event.

There will NOT be race day registration. The park service does not allow it.
Directions to Parking
For parking, there are several parking garages and spaces along Water Street. If you use the address for the Potomac Boat Club (3530 Water St NW, Washington, DC 20007) that will get you near the Start/Finish Line. Once you are on Water St, look for parking. It will be difficult to turn around if you follow the GPS all the way to the Boat Club.
