Start off this great American holiday with a fast, flat 5k, 10k & 10-miler in the heart of Georgetown near the Nation's Capital. Both events run on the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal path and benefit the Wounded Warrior Project on the 4th of July weekend.
Now offering a virtual run option for those who cannot make it on race day. You will receive a medal.
Race Start Times
10-Miler - 8am
10k - 8:15am
5k - 8:30am
Registration Fees
5k - $25, until June 15 ($30)
10k - $40, until June 15 ($45)
10-Miler - $50, until June 15 ($55)
T-shirts guaranteed to runners registered before June 20. We will order extra t-shirts for those who register after that date, but it is on a first-come first-served basis.

Hotel Reservations
If you're traveling in town, we suggest the Washington Marriott Georgetown (about 1.25miles from the Start/Line). Call them at 202-872-1500 for our group rate and let them know you're doing the Bishop's Events race and the race date. Reservations need to be made 4 weeks prior to the race.
Race Day Registration
There will NOT be race day registration. The park service does not allow it.

There is parking along Water Street and several parking garages on Water Street.
