This 5K run/walk travels through the quaint town of Wakefield, Virginia and out through the surrounding countryside. The streets and county roads are well-maintained for a comfortable run. There will be turns, small hills, and a nice straightaway for the competitive runner, exercise enthusiast or those new to 5K races.
Our race benefits our students and programs that promote a strong college preparatory education.
The fun run is just a bit short of a 1 mile course.
Strollers are allowed in this event.
All fun run participants receive a medal.
Runners receive a t-shirt, chip-timed event and a swag bag!
1st Overall Male Winner and 1 Overall Female Winner receive a medal.
1st Male and 1st Female winner in each age group receive a medal. Age groups are: 14&Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+

5k – $30, until March 26 ($40)
Fun Run – $15, until March 26 ($20)
T-shirts guaranteed to runners registered before March 26th (3/25 is the end of early registration). We will order extra t-shirts for those who register after that date, but it is on a first-come first-served basis.
Packet Pickup
At the event and it opens at 8:30am.
Race Day Registration
There will be race day registration. Participants will need to arrive around an hour before the race to get registered for the event. T-shirts sizes can not be guaranteed for race day registers.
